Acoustic Electric Guitars

Acoustic electric guitars come in various models. They are big so they give out a good sound. The smaller ones are amplified through a speaker system. There are two types of bodies available. The curved top which makes for good playing for country music and the flat top which is good for rock, folk or blues.

Acoustic electric guitars use two types of strings. Nylon strings are used on Classical Guitars and produce a mellower sound used in classical, flamenco and some folk music. Whereas the steel strings produce a loud and clear sound which comes in handy in Rock Country, Blues and Jazz. Most electric guitars have either a six-string setup or a 12-string setup. Beginners like to use the 6 string guitars.

Electric guitars use a variety of accessories. The amplifier speaker is a must for all would be musicians. You might need a soft or hard case depending on your use.
